I feel like crap because I have to spend a good amount of my day in the photo lab because I'm all about procrastinating for finals but I'll go over there for dinner for sure.

Last year my sisters and I made a picture frame (you know the ones you can get at walmart that are white porcelain that come with markers to draw on it with...) and then we took a picture looking as absolutely insane as we possibly could (one of us had a child's bike helmet on). It was a good time.

my mom almost died last month from a stroke and was in a coma, so I am gad she is doing better now.

I got my mom some socks. One pair has knitting needles and yarn on it. One has sparrows. One has elephants.

It's the only thing I can get her that I know she'll actually use. We have nothing in common and don't understand each other at all.

I will call my mother and wish her a happy day and tell her I love her. I will do the same for my sister, however I will be a good listener instead of trying to hurry off the phone so my sister can vent to me about how much our mother drives her crazy and she can't wait to have some space between them again. (they live way too close to each other)

This year is coffe and sweets with the mother in laws and then I get to drop off my crazy dog with my mom so she can watch him all week while we go to San Francisco. I will bring my mom chocolate and aspirin for putting up with the dog. Don't bring flowers I think all mom's think they are a waste of money.
