it was CRAZY looking out this morning about 5:30ish. Lots of cool colors as the sun came up, giant clouds, sprinkles, good smells. and it's COOL!!! Now, let's see how rediculously muggy it gets today!!

it was beautiful this morning, I had to drive Beth to work cause she didn't want to ride in the rain and neither did I.
People don't give a shit, unless it affects them personally, this affects me personally!

Yeah, I love thunderstorms, I loved hearing thunder as I was waking up this AM, but man, that 4 am storm kinda pissed me off. We had several thunderbolts where it was less than a second between the flash and the thunder, I felt my bed vibrating, the windows rattled. Somehow, it didn't wake up the baby. But it kept me awake!

yeah awesome morning!
it was wonderful to wake up to the sound of rain and thunder! Good way to start the day. I drove to work the whole way with my windows down!!

I want more rain!!! the house we put an offer on is a short sale, and it could be MONTHS before the sale is approved. There are so many pretty things growing in the backyard, and I do not want them to die from lack of water. The more rain we get, the longer all the nice growing stuff (in this yard and everywhere) can live! C'mon rain!!

The rain is so awesome. It seems to take the rain to wash away that haze of pollution from the atmosphere, for a little while at least. So the views look clearer and I love that.
I sleep like a bear, so the thunder and lightning had no effect on me. I woke up about 4am to lightning flashes and thought, 'Wow, it's still raining?', then went back to sleep.
Post Script: My AC has been out since last Thursday and the replacement part doesn't come in until Wednesday. So the rain, while not completely cooling, did bring down the temps in my house for a bit.
C'mon rain, bring it!!!

I woke up at about 5 this morning and watered my trees and grass and Im stoked that it will soak into the ground for a change due to awesome cloud cover!

f you guys. its been raining up here all goddamn year and im sick of it. and used to like the rain too. has it been crazy windy yet? like the yearly "holy fuck were gonna die" storm yet?
