I was thinking that it seems far because alot of my drive is throught the desert but, I figure that an hour commute is normal.
I hate that I have to drive this far to work. I hate that I rely on a car at all but thats the way it is for now. I just wanted to see what the average drive to work for yalls Shizzies is!

It seems that an hour is pretty standard for a commute, but it sucks that you need to drive it with your own hard-earned dinosaur juice.

However, it would be bad as to walk or ride a bike to work, so many of the downtowners are like that and it makes me jealous

My thesis is called the "Black-Emperor-Says Theory" and holds that any any Phoenix-area indie rock festival there is a 100 percent probability that Emperors of Japan, Black Carl, and/or What Laura Says will be on the bill.

But on the way home I have to pick up duh baby and that adds like 30-45 mintues of chatting with the inlaws and eating there food.
When I lived 8 miles from work it would still take me 25 mintues.

The road I take once I get off the freeway to get to Cooltown(Coolidge) goes between these two hills and in the evening its beautiful. No buildings or anything just desert and the good ole AZ sunset!
Wow, you work in Coolidge? I work in Sacaton. We should have lunch sometime.
My commute is approx 25 miles and it takes about 25-30 minutes each way. I don't mind. I'm trying to arrange a carpool but it hasn't panned out.
