Watched the first season w/ Weener and some folks on Sunday.
Pretty great stuff, there's a lot of dis-hype about how they had to replace some of the music due to right issues; I noticed one or two spots where it was pretty evident, but at no point did it "take me out of the experience."
(people who are elitist and bitching about this can suck it or pony up the thousand of bucks it would've cost.)

Some of the bits fall flat, as with any show of this type, and can get a bit repetitive like the "Captain Montery Jack talks to teens" and "Old Fashioned Guy" but it all moves so fast, that it didn't drag things down.

The oddest part were the skits that skewer the 90s MTV esthetic, they're really really dead-on.
So much so, that the younger friends I watched it with didn't seem to really get the joke
--anyone remember Dan Cortez & MTV Sports, anyone . . . anyone?

I remember the show getting better as it went on, so I'm looking forward to the next 2 seasons.
Haven't checked out the bonus material or commentaries yet.

Very enjoyable, worth the $$ for sure.

All the time when I tell people what I do they say, "Oh I don't understand art, I can't even draw." (or worse, "I only like art I can understand.") Well, ya know what, I don't know how to make a car, but I sure appreciate being able to drive one.

Watched about 1/2 of season 2 waiting for friends to come by.
Definetly stronger material.
I think, as they moved away from parodies of stuff (PSAs, TV stereotypes, other shows) the cast got stronger, figured out what they did best.
