My thesis is called the "Black-Emperor-Says Theory" and holds that any any Phoenix-area indie rock festival there is a 100 percent probability that Emperors of Japan, Black Carl, and/or What Laura Says will be on the bill.

donald uses the opposite of a silencer. he shoots through a megaphone.Very intimidating ... like Donald's gonna come to your house with with a silencer if you don't show up.

no, technically friday is their last show. go see it, then come to yucca and see eoj with the vining/martin/marquez heavy jazz standards trio.
some of the guys from yukon ho are working on a new project and it will be making a debut at shizzfest. at least that's what jjames tells me. and i forgot to change the flyer from 'yukon ho' to the new band name.

Is there a final lineup yet?
we are still waiting on a handful of confirmations and are reserving some slots, so while we have 17 bands it is not yet final. the bands that have confirmed and will definitely be a part of this festival:
Rumspringer
Said Gun
The Worrymen
Quarter Inch Crown
Former Friends of Young Americans
Animals in the Dark
So and So
Dangerville
Yukon Ho*
Necronauts
World Class Thugs
Wizwars
Snow Songs
After Any Accident
Platypus Egg
Andrew Jackson Jihad
Bossa Nova Heather Novas
the expectation is to have 20 bands - so we're still coordinating the last 3.
