http://sports.espn.g...hive?id=2864045 8/20 interview w/ Nash
Nash was kind of f'd over by Shaq, which apparently led to bad blood between him (Shaq) and the team. The team felt as if Shaq was doing what was best for him -- to prove he wasn't washed up, and everyone else was overshadowed/negated by him.
I still think the Suns can make noise this year. We're pretty much back where were in 05-08. Small team, fast, great athletes, and heavily-offense oriented. I think we have a good season next year, around 52+ wins.
What are your prospects this season?

i've got my fingers crossed for a play off spot. i still get hot thinking of all the games last season the suns would've won if shaq had made one or two more free throws. i feel bad for lebron james.

52 wins?
I say a 7th or 8th seed, make it to the conference semi's.

I think the Suns will make the playoffs. Nash and Stoudemire are a lethal combination on offense, but are severe liabilities on defense. If they can score more than the other team like in the D'Antoni days, then they'll be fine. The Lakers will be a dynasty for a few more years, so we just need to wait it out and give Nash and Hill a good end to their careers. We'll either build the future around Amare or trade him and the Suns will finally have to build a team from scratch.
