Hi,

Lately I've come to realize a handful of people I know personally and respect for their innate intelligence believe the moon landing was faked.
When asked about it, they start out referencing all those odd little onomalies in the photos and footage.
When pressed though, they usually wind up resorting to the "can't trust the government" angle.

I've always believed we landed on the moon as shown, and that the footage and pictures we see are actual images (some have probably been retouched/doctored for one reason or another, but I don't believe its to fake our being there).

How about it, did we go there, are the images we've been shown real?
Why should I believe one way or another, why do you?

Didn't Japan recently snap some shots of the landing spot from a lunar satellite?

I really have no reason to believe one way or another. If NASA/the US Government was faking the landing, then why put so much money and effort into the Apollo program or even the entire space program? Was the entire Apollo program a hoax? Look at the progress we've made in NASA. There is no doubt that the period of time in the 60's of really pushing the limits of the unknown has helped to advance us to the point we are at now.

I'm willing to be open to all possibilities but for now, all signs point to us landing on the moon.

I could go either way with the moon landing.
Cold war dick measuring contest is a good reason to fake it, and we don't really ever go there any more...you think it would be a good test spot for Mars landings and stuff, plus they recently found out they recorded over the original footage.
