sign up for AAA.. you'll never lock your keys in your car again. it'll feel like a waste of money when you never use it, but then if you ever cancel it, you'll lock'em in there within a week.

i have locked my keys in the car twice when the car was still running, one of the times 90210 was about to come on tv and that made it even worse

i am asking my co-workers if they can help. they're all nerdy engineers so i am hoping they can think of something.

I did this once and went out back to find a peice of that metal pallet straping stuff. I made a little notch in it with a pair of tin snips and BAM slim jim!

if the engineers can't do it I will send some sweaty Serbs over, I am not sure how well they are at breaking into cars, i know I am not, but they are great at balding and smelling bad, so maybe that will work.

i did the same thing.. twice within a week. only times i've locked my keys in my car in probably a decade.

i just called a nearby Honda dealer. They can make me a cheap $5 door spare if i have my ID and an official piece of paper with my name and the vehicle's VIN number on it.

I called my insurance and they are faxing over a copy of my insurance card and a co-worker is going to run me over to the dealership for the key.

But thank you to everyone that offered assistance (even the serbs)
you all rule.
