i am usually super excited for fall and the holidaze but this season i've been kind eh - though i am excited for the shizz halloween party!

i haven't even decorated my house for halloween. this will be the first time in years i haven't done that.

i just feel kinda hermit-y
i didn't go out at all weekend this past weekend. just hung out at home. it was nice.

Ever really like to be a hermit sometimes?

Only sometimes. Like the last 3 years of my life.

I go through ups and downs. The last few weekends I pretty much just chilled at home. But this past weekend I had some life-affirming "adventures in getting fucked up" type shit go down.

Pretty much during the week I am in 100% hermit mode except for sometimes Tuesday nights. I wish I could be/was less hermity during the week but half the stuff I want/need to do can't be done outside of my house. Oh well.

I think that some times people with big personalities that are always on, there is always a fall out at some point and taking time to hide and not open the door or answer the phone is natural and needed.

i like it.
i like being social no doubt but i am not an overly social person irl. people always think i'm sad, mad or i dont like them but i am really just shy.

but i've always liked to be alone. though it can get old sometimes.

Earlier this year Weener pointed out something that I had never noticed about myself. Turns out I'm not a very friendly person. It's not that I dislike people, I just don't take an active interest in other peoples lives. I tried changing that with my classmates in my acting class and I was surprised to see that we interacted a lot more.

I hermit'd today after I got my results for my midterm. I did alright, but I found out that two of my friends tied for getting the second highest scores . . . I then ran away to do some studying.
