this is a blog where people send in pictures of their parents before they were their parents.

it's kind of cool to see your parents as dudes your age.

Apparently my mom used to be a big Alice Cooper fan. And my dad was and still is totally into Led Zeppelin. It's no wonder I'm a metalhead.

yea, my parents went from southern rock drug using bikers to Republicans.
Well, pot smoking republicans. And they lived in Iowa/Nebraska, so I am not sure if they were "badass motorcylce club bikers" but they looked the part.

while it may not seem like they are be youthfull and fun, this is a photo of my dad (on the right) and his brothers posing for a christmas photo after they bailed the dude on the left and the dude in the chair out of jail from a bar fight, they went and got "nice" clothes from a thrift shop and posed for the photo since they were all in the same place at the same time.

I have a legacy of mustache that apparently I have to maintain.
