Kind of turned me off to actually listening to their music that night.

I saw Dead To Me open for Teenage Bottlerocket @ the Brickhouse and the bassist guy, Chicken (?), was a total jerk to the audience. He was like, "You kids remember records? You know like things you won't find at Hot Topic?". He just generally berated the audience as if we were all teenybopper losers. He just came off so condescending and cocky like he was the only person who knew what 'punk' rock was.
Kind of turned me off to actually listening to their music that night.
Thats the show I played with them at. I was in parkway then and yeah we all felt the same way. He was a dick!

well if we are going to talk trash....
They opened for Smoke or Fire at the brickhouse and all he talked about was how ruff it is to be a junkie/ex junkie, and it was getting old and Jeff Ott is the only person I take that kind of nonsense from.

"I don't want to hear a song about junkies unless it's sung by Jeff Ott...and even then not really" That's the title of a Brickfight song.
