When they come on the radio the only thing I change is the volume...up...they kinda sound like Bob Seger..so I am in.

The Weakerthans - My wife makes fun of me almost daily for liking the weaker half of pre-millennium Propagandhi. But whatever, I like there suger sweet sappy love songs and lame singer-song writer stories about cats. (I haven't really heard there last two albums or the John K. Sampson solo stuff)
Left and Leaving is an awesome record. The song Reconstruction Site kills me too.
Where a little boy under a table with cake in his hair
Stared at the grown-up feet as they danced and swayed
And his father laughed and talked on the long ride home
And his mother laughed and talked on the long ride home
And he thought about how everyone dies someday
And when tomorrow gets here, where will yesterday be
And fell asleep in his brand new winter coat
The Weakerthans should be in no way considered a guilty pleasure. I WILL FIGHT ANYONE WHO SAYS OTHERWISE! Tell your wife to GET IN LINE!

MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE/THE BLACK PARADE
MARILYN MANSON (except the last two records)
the first 3 SLIPKNOT records
PANIC! AT THE DISCO
STONE TEMPLE PILOTS
JOSIE AND THE PUSSYCATS (wow, babyface can write some sweet pop punk tunes!)
and my newest one is that new MUSE single.
also, i totally dont care what people think. i listen to enough violence that is considered unlistenable noise to most to easily make up for all of these.

Speaking of tool bags....Tool is definitely one for me. I think they're awesome and don't care what anyone thinks but fuck I hate people who like them. They make me think of people on a meth bender trying to get all philosophical and "you just don't understand, man".
So many good ones here. My Chemical Romance is good. The funny thing is they sound like Green Day meets Queen, and I don't like either one of those bands.
Jose and the Pussycats is also a great guilty pleasure movie...so good
Kings of Leon is a good choice because, they've always been fucking terrible but at least now they are terrible in a really catchy, pop-rock radio sort of way
Paramore is good too...there are a ton more I'll think of

my wife had a Slayer Decade of Aggression double cassette she would carry with her when she rode in my car back when the first Weakerthans album came out, so she didn't have to listen to it. And she routinely calls me a pussy for liking them, even if I hadn't listened to them in months/years.
but I thank the Weakerthans for allowing Propagandhi to spread there head banging wings.
