Iron Maiden
Journey
Lisa Lisa and Cult Jam
Manowar
Phish
Skinny Puppy
Styx

i actively enjoy most, if not all, of these bands. if you denied liking them when we first met, i'd punch you right in your throat. male or female. i don't care.

Haha, this thread is so funny.

I love that someone put "Come Monday" by Jimmy Buffett. My parents are total parrotheads and this was always my favorite song of his.
A lot of mine are embarassing things my parents like that I like too. "Romeo and Juliet" by Dire Straits and "Ramblin Man" by the Allman Brothers.

I also love some of the things that come out of pop radio. BEYONCE IS GOD! I seriously have a major girl crush on her.

Shakira drives me up the wall so much!!!!!! It sounds like her mouth is stuffed with food or something!

Um, I love that "Birthday Sex" song by Jeremiha. Love this video too. YUM!

R Kelly anyone???!!!

With what I've been getting into and listening to over 2009, I'll be obsessed with the Eagles in six months. "Take It Easy," baby, take it easy.

Would it totally bum you out if I wore a Slayer Vans shoe on 1 foot and Iron Maiden on the other?

the slayer vans slip on's were like $15 at the Vans outlet, and if they had my size I would have been in them, I am a hypocrite...or just a lover of a good bargain.

But to not get off target...
The Yeah Yeah yeah's were a guilty secret I kept for a while, until I found out I wasn't alone in my liking of them. (I am talking in a circle of dudes who listen to masculine, angry music, and nothing remotely close to the Yeah yeah Yeah's)

I've been dodging this topic for a while.

But fuck it.

I love the Dresden Dolls. Seriously. They're great.

This song still gets to me, in a good way.

A piano / drum combo is a good one, imo, and I like the female vocals, even tho the lyrics don't apply to me directly. I would love to see them live.

How the hell can you be embarrassed by Tool, but proud of Iron Maiden??

Iron Maiden is the ultimate cheese metal! And I still listen to 'em and all, just sayin...

I've only heard that "Party in the USA" song and I really think it's terrible!

Another one of mine is Maximo Park.

As cheesy as Iron Maiden is, they are epic masters of metal. Tool is proggy stoner rock, but not in the cool kind like Boris or maybe even Neurosis.
Tool is associated with dudes with those single line chin gotee thingy's and long finger nails and going to school to be a luthier .
Any rocking Iron Maiden shit now thinks they are being ironic and know nothing about the 7th Son of a 7th son.

Can I play with madness!
