oh i went to 1130 at the Arizona Center this past sunday and they have a big brunch special with $2 mimosas and $2 bloody marys (which are huge!) i didn't have breakfast but i drank a lot and it was good.

harlow's is the shit. i never go to tempe anymore and that's one of the few places i really miss.

Why are they popular? Their skillet potatoes are like dried out dog turds.

Emperors of Japan
Myspace

My thesis is called the "Black-Emperor-Says Theory" and holds that any any Phoenix-area indie rock festival there is a 100 percent probability that Emperors of Japan, Black Carl, and/or What Laura Says will be on the bill.

I just noticed the alarming ratio of poop:non-poop topics in my posts. What's wrong with me!

Brunchies in Chandler is pretty solid. Some like, some don't. I do. I like the protein pancakes @ US Egg in Scottsdale and the veggie eggs benedict thing they have....I forget. Haven't tried Matt's but I'm rarely in the area in the a.m.

forget that place that Weener suggested, but it was damn good

Just started going to this place called Lil John's by my place. Although next time I'm going earlier, some dude sat next to me right as I got my food that smelled like baby powder and pee

Everyone says that Harlowes is awesome. I live down the street from it and it's always packed. I HATE waiting a long time to get a table so I can eat so I will probably never go there. Plus I don't like crowds of people in a small space.

There is place on University and McClintock that I tried. It was decent. Well, the salsa was fantastic. Most 'breakfast' places aren't that great for me since most restaurant breakfast is super fattening or has a ton of meats. 400 cals is my absolute max for breakfast so going out for breakfast is not really all that appealing to me.

I miss waffles though. Like the HUGE belgian waffles that are deliciously doughy w/ lots of butter and syrup.

and not eating meat... I MISS biscuits and gravy. Haven't found a good vegetarian version of white gravy yet. Just not the same.
