I am at Roosevelt at 14th, so just down the street from you.

Ranch Market at 16th and Roosevelt is great.

Lukes is a great hot dog place at 16th and Indian School.

The Dip on 7th street between McDowell and Thomas is great too.

plug your new address into walkscore.com. it's designed to tell you what's within walking distance in terms of bars, restaurants, stores, etc.

My thesis is called the "Black-Emperor-Says Theory" and holds that any any Phoenix-area indie rock festival there is a 100 percent probability that Emperors of Japan, Black Carl, and/or What Laura Says will be on the bill.

and not too terrible far from Lucys healthy Marketplace on 16th St and Bethany Home or Aunt Chiladas (food is ehh, but outside BARS are epic and low key, and bacci ball) on 16th between Glendale and Bethany.
You are the right side of the 51 now. you can breethe easier.

Harveys WineBurger on 16th and Camelback.

China village on Indianschool Rd and i think 32nd street about.

last but no least!

Jerrys on 24thStreet and Thomas. I love that place Its a diner that I have seen trannys beat up bikers and a one legged mexican guy try and fight an old racist cowboy! The food is typical but its a good place to hit after a night of drinking for sure.

All the time when I tell people what I do they say, "Oh I don't understand art, I can't even draw." (or worse, "I only like art I can understand.") Well, ya know what, I don't know how to make a car, but I sure appreciate being able to drive one.
