I also saw them in early '96 at a warm-up show pre-release of the self-titled at the College of William and Mary. It was kinda weird because nobody knew any of the songs. My friend Chris was doing sound for the opening bands, Crown Hate Ruin and Regulator Watts (both ex-Hoover), so I got to hang out before and after the show and talked a lot with Kim and Zach. Zach actually changed his pants and underwear in front of me while we were talking. that was very weird.

oh man that jawbreaker/jawbox show (with teeth, if you believe that) was the first time i went to tucson. i thought jawbreaker were effing great, but of course i was like 16 or something.
