it seems everyone wants to reunite, I don't care if any band wants to get back together, but I can see how it would get old having all these reunions instead of developing new stuff, but sometimes the new stuff sucks'
"It might sound too good to be true, but according to a close source, the band — Tim Kinsella, Mike Kinsella, Sam Zurick, Victor Villarreal and Davey von Bohlen — has been rehearsing old material in hopes of putting together a 10-date tour for summer 2010. While nothing is confirmed, the source says the five performers were asked to learn their individual parts for five songs.
Perhaps the most popular Cap’n Jazz offshoot, Owls, may be reuniting, as well. Sort of. The source says practice sessions are set up for a new band consisting of Tim Kinsella, Sam Zurick, Victor Villarreal, Make Believe’s Bobby Burg, Ghosts and Vodka’s Erik Bocek and Joan of Arc’s Theo Katsaounis.
The source continued as saying the new group won’t be called Owls due to a dispute with old label Jade Tree Records, and that Polyvinyl Records is on the short list of potential suitors. The band has yet to decide on a name, the source said."

Nothing with a Kinsella in it should be allowed to exist. Terrible, terrible news
i couldn't disagree with you more.
-trunkspaceAll the time when I tell people what I do they say, "Oh I don't understand art, I can't even draw." (or worse, "I only like art I can understand.") Well, ya know what, I don't know how to make a car, but I sure appreciate being able to drive one.
