Hey everyone.

Has anyone been contacted by or booked a show through Afton? I got an email saying they liked our sound and they wanted to book us for a show at the Clubhouse. It looks like they are based in Portland, but do booking for select venues in select cities. From their Phoenix calendar--it looks like they book mostly for the Clubhouse and Big Fish. You can buy tickets to shows directly on their site. Looks legit, just wondering if anyone has come across them before.

never heard of them but make sure they're not one of those scam bookers that charge bands to buy up tickets for their shows and then the bands have to sell the tix they bought in order to make their money back and make a profit.

Hexaclops and DESTOROYAH have been approached by them. It's a scam and a rather notorious one at that. If you google them, you will hear the horror stories. It's geared toward you doing all the work and them getting all the money. You could do it all yourself without them and still end up playing Big Fish on a Tuesday night to 5 people.
