I thought he meant, it's not worth waiting for marriage to have sex.

basically saying pre-marital sex is aight.

or he actually made it so ambiguous so as not to offend the extremes on the right or left, which makes him smarter than he looks, or just lucky.

People don't give a shit, unless it affects them personally, this affects me personally!

As to whether Mr. Jonas' bride agreed with his "that's it?" assessment, Mr. Jonas remarked, "She says most of my friends are better in bed than me"

This is the same thing Zac Hanson said after he was married and had sex for the first time, except he was a bit more eloquent about it.

He was saying that our society puts too much importance on sex and the idea of waiting until marriage to have sex. he said sex was great and all but it's not worth making such a fuss over.

I really love it when pop stars come out and say it like that, because it makes people think about why they feel it's so important to wait until marriage. Sure, some people will choose to be abstinent because that's what they really want. . . but at least some others will see it's not for them and go on to try out premarital sex and enjoy it.

If it were important to me to save sex for marriage, I'd have gotten married at 18 to some douchebag. I'd probably be divorced by now. Marrying the first person you fancy as a teenager so you can bang them is not usually a good prescription for lifelong happiness.

Yeah, but you wouldn't have gotten divorced, because that would have been against your religion too.
