Make band Fliers on the fly

I am a big fan of Photoshp and use it for pretty much all the fliers and print work I make...however, there are some wicked online and open source graphic editor programs out there for those on a low budge or not willing to torrent and pirate stuff.
Thought I would share this with the shizz familia...
Aviary Rules - this is a free online phot and graphic editor...it uses flash and ajax to power the stuff. works pretty good for on the fly graphic design
Inkscape - this program flat out rules. I love it almost more than Adobe Illustrator...almost...
GiMP - like photoshop and in some ways better and more intuitive...
if anyone knows of any others please add them here...i am always looking for free and open source alternatives to ADOBE's dark kingdom of overpriced software.

open source java application that does most everything that photoshop does... designed & implemented by scientists for scientists, which means you get more out of it if you know a little java and the mechanics behind the routines.

Thanks bro. Still trying to get Chris motivated to get comments and a new calendar programmed in, but luckily there's always stuff to write about. If anyone's interested in writing an article for AZPunk about whatever interests, hit me up.

Nah man, we created that thing from the ground up. Only thing I used was the 960 grid system to help with the layout.
