Snow songs is looking for a drummer right now.Hello. Here are my influences past and present: Tortoise, June of 44, Rachel's, Blonde Redhead, Cocteau Twins, Rodan, A Minor Forest, Stereolab, Neutral Milk Hotel, HNIA, Bjork, Portishead, Camera Obscura, Swell, Pale Saints, Friends of Dean Martinez, The Sugarcubes, The Sundays, Belly, The Smiths, Calexico, My Bloody Valentine, Mogwai, Red House Painters, Dianogah, Masada, Slowdive, Tony Williams, Bill Evans Trio, M.Davis/Tony Williams, been introduced to Explosions In The Sky and I like them a lot, some Wayne Krantz and the list goes on.
Go to myspace and look them up.
They play all different styles and they
already have songs on cd to play to.
Talk to Yolanda.
Thats the singer.
Good luck!

-trunkspaceAll the time when I tell people what I do they say, "Oh I don't understand art, I can't even draw." (or worse, "I only like art I can understand.") Well, ya know what, I don't know how to make a car, but I sure appreciate being able to drive one.

Drummers are the single hardest band members to find in this state. Consider yourself a commodity.
it's cuz we're awesome.

Yolanda is cool, I recorded her as a solo artist a couple years back. She's a little slow to respond on myspace, though!
I like your list, too, if I was getting a new band together, I'd be interested. But between recording and 2 small children, no time...
