Portland, Oregon Shizzies?

My trip destination has changed due to some unfortunate circumstances however I’ve managed to bounce back from this and change course to see a friend who lives in Portland and also where my beloved Girl in Coma will be playing the day I arrive at the Doug Fir Lounge. Which looks pretty sweet to see a show at.
Any recommendations for a must see, drink, eat at spot?

or just go to hawthorne district and wear tight pants and say you skateboard, but have a swollen ankle so you just want to drink instead.

also BURNSIDE SKATE PARK under the bridge as seen on tony hawk's pro skater
henry wineheart's brewery not sure if thats around anymore but it's what my dad used to drink
-trunkspaceAll the time when I tell people what I do they say, "Oh I don't understand art, I can't even draw." (or worse, "I only like art I can understand.") Well, ya know what, I don't know how to make a car, but I sure appreciate being able to drive one.

If I were brining my boys I’m sure the skate park would be a must. I though get to venture off all by my lonesome for this trip. Very much needed time to myself. Maybe I’ll get a picture just to show them but no skate parks for me! I'll get enough of that this weekend at the AM.
I’m definitely going to check this park out, though Japanese Garden I'm sure to get some rad photos there.
I'm so jealous. I wanna go! hahaha
Lets go!

Tetsuoo, Housethegrate, and Ashane all live up there along with a few other shizzies.
Powells bookstore is amazing
I heard they have the highest rate of strip clubs per capita in the nation (nothing to back that up though)
ton's of cool places to checkout, I saw an elvis impersonator on the street singing only beatles toons once, and it was aweeeesoooooome
mary's is definitely a cool bar in downtown, be forewarned it's a strip club
full nudity that serves alcohol, the girls are very nice, and be sure to by a t-shirt
Message board?
This is The Shizz.
Chromelodeon manages to get all the furniture from their hotel into the lake a few years back...and people are worried about shizzies?

This was one of my favorite things when I visited last year - I highly recommend it. Also, there's a rose garden right by there. Not sure what the blooming season is, so there may be nothing there (like when I went), but if the roses are in bloom, I bet it's incredible.
Japanese Garden is worth it all by itself though...(and it's on one of the bus lines, so you don't even need a car)
The zoo was pretty decent too...
Plus the beer. My god, the beer...
And Powell's...
I'm jealous! Have fun!
