So does anyone have any experience with renting a car under the age of 25 in Phoenix? Any info about what places will do this and what the requirements are would be greatly appreciated.

prom is at the ice house tavern, which is 3855 E. Thomas. there are several hotels down near the airport which are pretty close by, like this hampton inn. i'm not endorsing hampton or anything, but that's the general area i'm talking about. PLUS there's a light rail stop very close to that hotel and you could take that to tempe or into downtown.
of course, i'd rather have a car to do whatever i wanted at any time and not be at the mercy of the light rail. but if you are screwed with renting a car, i'd suggest a location that is near the rail and the prom venue.

My thesis is called the "Black-Emperor-Says Theory" and holds that any any Phoenix-area indie rock festival there is a 100 percent probability that Emperors of Japan, Black Carl, and/or What Laura Says will be on the bill.

Message board?
This is The Shizz.
Chromelodeon manages to get all the furniture from their hotel into the lake a few years back...and people are worried about shizzies?

We're staying at the Quality Inn near Central & McDowell, so plans for just going out and doing random shit are definitely based around the light rail. It seems like it would be less bullshit to just take a cab to the places we can't get to by light rail, and I'd assume less expensive.if you get a hotel on the light rail, the only time you'll need to get a cab is to/from prom, and depending where you stay it might not be very expensive. could be cheaper than a rental. just sayin.

i'd agree. you're probably going to pay at least $40 or $50 per day for the car after all is said and done. that's a shitload of cab rides.
