I am not sure if another thread has brought this up yet, but is anyone else terrified of Brewer signing this immigration bill?

NY: big and stuff to do, but expensive and no solitude.
WA/OR: Beautiful, but depressing if you like sunshine at least once in a while.
MN: Some of the clearest air I've ever breathed and great people, but be fuckin' ready for that winter.
MA: Not enough experience yet, but the couple of days I spent in Boston were pretty great. Food is AWESOME. People are kind of retarded, though...no offense...
AZ: No snow....hmmm...there are a lot of cons BUT...
Pros and cons wherever you go. I've realized, for the most part, that happiness (cliche) has a lot more to do with state of mind. I've always found reasons to bail on my home or problems. But I've never stopped running into new ones.
Oh and what bill? haha

Abortion Reporting Requirements
This bill has been introduced in both the House and the Senate and expands the
range of information reported to Arizona Department of Health Services with
regard to abortion care.
Currently, abortion providers are required to report particular information to
ADHS in an effort to collect Arizona specific data regarding abortion care. This
bill includes all of the current data required for reporting and adds additional
reporting requirements health care professionals must provide such as,
information about complications that may arise from the procedure and
information about judicial bypasses granted to minors through the court system
who are unable to secure parental consent.
Some outstanding issues with this bill:
• If ADHS currently has issues reporting accurate numbers to the CDC and the
state, how will codifying the requirement into law improve reporting outcomes?
• Currently, reason for abortion data is already required on reports, but the bill
language may allow reporting to include requiring a woman to provide the reason
why she may have chosen to have an elective abortion, creating additional
burdens and violating her privacy.
• There are additional provisions that must be included in order to maintain patient
and minor privacy. This is a particular concern in rural areas where a particular
judge or county can be pinpointed in the case of judicial bypass. (i.e. names of judges who grant abortions to minors could easily be found by anti-choice extremists and harassed or murdered)
Talking Points
• Planned Parenthood Arizona strictly adheres to the requirements set forth by the
Arizona Department of Health Services, ensuring all information reported is
timely and accurate.
• A discrepancy in reporting numbers may exist because Arizona has several
providers and Planned Parenthood is but one; we can only ensure the numbers
we provide are accurate.
• Planned Parenthood Arizona understands the importance of collecting accurate
data. However, it is imperative that medical data collection protects and
maintains a patient’s privacy.
• No other reproductive health procedure, including vasectomies or tubal ligations,
is singled out for this level of extensive reporting.

-trunkspaceAll the time when I tell people what I do they say, "Oh I don't understand art, I can't even draw." (or worse, "I only like art I can understand.") Well, ya know what, I don't know how to make a car, but I sure appreciate being able to drive one.

The one hope I hold on to is that Brewer has not said much about what she wants to do and has not signed the bill yet. Maybe she realizes she has to sign it to keep her job but even she doesn't think it's right. Then again, that crazy bitch will definitely sign it.
