I had some good hot pickles at a buddy's a couple of weeks ago. His roommate had a jar of regular pickles, and he added a shitload of garlic and chiles and let 'em sit for a while. That was some tasty shit.

my great grandmother made the best hot pickles. She would mail them to us here from where she lived in Nanicoke. She grew her own everything. She would also send us horseradish root. Never had better horseradish sauce then when we would get a root from her.
