infuriating.

what's infuriating for me is that this thing went un-argued. not a single person voted against it. basically everyone looked at voting against this thing as political suicide. that means that those people in office are afraid of all of the people who vote seeing them as an awful person. when is the time where level-headedness takes over and people who voted and people who want votes are intelligent enough to not let religious bullshit dictate their lives? i mean, what happened to all those free-thinking hippies that have now grown up? are they not running for office? are they not voting? did they turn into conservative assholes? i mean, i like to think i'm pretty much the same person i was when i was a lot younger. sure, i don't want to be a "gi joe man" anymore but my ideals haven't been swayed so much so that they're 180 degrees from what they once were. i'd like to think the same will still be true after another 20 years on this planet.

And we can't get anyone to vote for sexual education in school. In my 7th grade "sex ed" day they weren't allowed to tell us what a condom was, or what it meant to "pop a cherry" But I'm glad we are all concerned with a zygote
