That's my old Ibanez Iceman hanging in the entry hall. I was invited to a PR function there several months ago. Only a few exhibits were up at that point but if it looks the way they planned, it should be an interesting trip. I've heard a couple people say they went and it was pretty cool. Lotta money behind it.

Chromelodeon manages to get all the furniture from their hotel into the lake a few years back...and people are worried about shizzies?

Definitely interested in checking it out.

Heard it's kind of expensive though.

EDIT: nm, $15 is completely doable.

I have applied for every single position this place has, it is really a perfect scenerio for me
Recording Degree, Art Degree, History degree.

Alas I work in a warehouse, but would love to go to this place.

I have been there... It is kind of expensive... Like 15 for an adult and 10 for a kid I believe... They also have shows there...if you like Carlos Nakai and shit like that you can pay 40 bucks to see him. The museum is segregated by country/ instrument and they give you one of those audio tour things so you don't have to interact with anyone which I think is lame/ maybe cool if you are into that. For you analog synth people they have got a pretty sweet Oberheim there. The raddest part about the MIM is they have a room for kids so they can play with a bunch of instruments like a theremin, a marimba, many different kinds of harps, and a huuuuuge gong. I need to go a few more times to get a better feel for it, but everyone should go and check it out at least once. Word to yer mutha!
