-trunkspaceAll the time when I tell people what I do they say, "Oh I don't understand art, I can't even draw." (or worse, "I only like art I can understand.") Well, ya know what, I don't know how to make a car, but I sure appreciate being able to drive one.

so what all can we do now with this new upgrade?
Very good question BGO
viewing it from a smart phone is much nicer
twitter/facebook integration
The addition of status updates on the main page of the messageboard.
There are other features I have not yet turned on, and will probably play with a little, if you like something let me know, and if you don't like something DEFINITELY let me know. That's all I have for now which is what you probably already knew, but I just got back from lunch and need to work for a bit before I can go into any real depth about the changes.

I wish I could say the same thing for AZPunk. :/
hey!
actually, i've thought of moving from smf to ipboard. didn't wanna pay the fee though.
definitely dig the "share this topic" options. pretty awesome. i'm constantly trying to send people to the azpw board with just straight up, "hey, ya bored? come chat" kind of facebook and twitter updates. which don't reach anyone outside of my friends/followers.

I give props to AzPunk, although I think I have been to some of the same shows as Micah has, we have never met in person.
As far as IPB goes, I used a free version of IPB years ago and had to pay in order to patch it. It was like version 1.2.x or something like that. I never patched it (because of cost) and my site got hacked bad, we actually had to do a complete overhaul of everything back in 2007. Since then, I have tried to stay pretty current with the patching. It's definitely worth the money, and we are now at version 3.1.1 my how the times have changed.

WOW!
version 1.1.2
what's funny is that IPB wasn't the first board I had, it was an opensource app that used flatfiles instead of a database. It worked cause it wasn't heavily used.
Man i'm gettin all teary eyed and shit

Dood, I wasn't talking about AZPWithdrawal. You've done an awesome job helping us(me) out by having this for the time being. At this point, I'd shoot my left nut off to get Chris' help tending to all the programming shit that desperately needs his attention on AZPunk. Unfortunately, my cries go completely unheard.
