Style is Hot Water Music, Leatherface, Young Livers, A Death In The Family, Small Brown Bike, Jawbreaker, Jawbox, Naked Raygun, Seaweed, Samiam, Husker Du, Strike Anywhere, Lawrence Arms, Latterman, Lifetime, etc. Basically, mid-tempo melodic hardcore/punk (or beardcore or post-punk... whatever you choose to call it) with some fast and slow songs thrown in to mix it up.
