So my new group Dynophyte is looking for a place to do some quality recording that we havent been before. The guy we recorded with for yukon ho's album and ep's is great but we were thinking a new face would be good. Anyone have any suggestions on where to get a good quality 4 song ep done that wont break the bank?

-trunkspaceAll the time when I tell people what I do they say, "Oh I don't understand art, I can't even draw." (or worse, "I only like art I can understand.") Well, ya know what, I don't know how to make a car, but I sure appreciate being able to drive one.

everyone?

No doubt Bob is really good. Super, super expensive though and, granted I'm basing this on forever ago, kind of a douche face.
you get what you pay for.
If you're concerned about $$, you should just record yourself.

from the recordings i've heard from flying blanket, it's probably worth every penny.
but for me, the price at analog 513 is right for the gear and fidelity. and more importantly, i have a really, really good time, and any complaints about the recording i've done there is on my end.
it might be too far of a drive though.
