I want to play in a band.

i'm looking for one (or more) musicians interested in an eclectic, pseudo-improvisational new project. the ability (and desire) to play multiple instruments a huge plus, and you can't be afraid to experiment. your age/gender is irrelevant - i'm 34 (if you care). i'd like for this to be more serious than a hobby and try to get together to rehearse or play out a couple of times per week. at the same time, i have a life and a family and a job and other musical commitments, so i get it if you do, too.
if you want to play galleries, the occasional bar, or First Friday shows, this would be an appropriate project for you. if odd time signatures or playing in minor keys are intimidating, we're probably not on the same page, but you don't need to be a prodigy or anything to fit in.
i'm inspired by the Beastie Boys, Menomena, Beck, Broken Social Scene, Radiohead, Dirty Projectors, Miles Davis, and about a million local bands.
anyway, if this is something you want to talk more about, please PM me.
also, i can probably get us a killer slot on the next shizzfest.

My thesis is called the "Black-Emperor-Says Theory" and holds that any any Phoenix-area indie rock festival there is a 100 percent probability that Emperors of Japan, Black Carl, and/or What Laura Says will be on the bill.

Message board?
This is The Shizz.
Chromelodeon manages to get all the furniture from their hotel into the lake a few years back...and people are worried about shizzies?
