so poolboy's email system was set up by someone who didn't know what they were doing and is now no longer with poolboy.

we have our email set up through google mail/our url but i can't figure out how to create new email addresses....

does anyone know this kind of stuffs?

You need to know the admin account for your domain, which hopefully you have...

I have never used the Google Apps email stuff from an admin perspective so I have no clue really. B'oh.

yes, you can do that. but since DNS takes some time to switch over it might not be a good idea to switch it up if you get lots of emails daily.

and i have the login info to our hosting and domain accounts.

Google is free as long as you are using less than 50 email addresses. (I believe that's how it's setup for the shizz)
I think you are unlimited on how many aliases or distribution lists you can create though, so you can kind of play with that.

You can not have the same email address hosted by multiple email service providers. DNS won't allow it. (maybe you can spoof or whatever, but in the grand scheme of things no, you can't)
