I wish Food Not Bombs fed more homeless people than hipsters...
hah! the really great thing about Food Not Bombs is that everyone is free to eat the food they prepare, they dont judge.
however, more homeless people use rusty spoke than hipsters actually, which is why Food Not Bombs is involved in the fundraiser.
On their open shop day (currently every sunday) they usually get around 20 people in the shop, and about 18 of them are homeless or on parole (parole officers actually recommend people to Rusty Spoke)
it's a safe and free place to hang out and the collective mechanics help them fix up their bikes so they can be mobile.
it's actually a really cool collective

I will probably go to this. I know a few people who work with FNB and RS and they are awesome also.
I am curious where you saw hipsters eat and bail, Tyler. Was it in Phoenix?
The only FNB events I've been to were at Firehouse and Conspire. And while true that there are hipsters that hang
at those places, there were plenty of people who were there for the event.
Been meaning to get to RS, as it is around the corner from my house.
hmm. afterparty?

Going to this seems likely. An afterparty for a party on Grand is it's own afterparty.
I'm open. However I probably will not clean my house any better than it is now. heh.

But I hope when you think of feeding the homeless you dont assume the impact is being done outside of art galleries? And after everyone saves a few bucks on grub on First Fridays @ Food Not Bombs event #138 they all head to Lost Leaf for an overpriced organic brew...no on sees the hypocrisy in this?

Can we please not fight darling? The children are listening. Let's make love.
Serios though. My GF called in sick today so I think my Halloween party experiences are going to be limited.
Unless I want to go out while my girl is sick at home. Kind of a douche move, but still, there's like hella parties around my house
tonight.
