but i go this year if i end up getting promo tix again. lineup is pretty decent. not the best year ever but there's some good stuff.

Havent been to coachella since 2004, want to go this year so bad but I'm going on a weeklong vacation in April and the Screeching Weasel Fest in May, no money and no time, AAUGH

actually the lineup is not tooo bad. though i would skip the headliners except for maybe Arcade Fire. but i saw them at coachella a few years ago....but they were really good live....

i think coachella is cool and if you're really into a lot of different music it's a cool festival to go to and see lots of bands in a short amount of time. but it is so fucking expensive....so i dunno. i kinda stopped caring about/wanting to go. a lot of the coachella bands end up playing phx/az on their way in and out of coachella so i figure i can see them here for cheap and see a full show and not have to sneak in weed in my crotch.

I can see the appeal of Coachella, though there are only a handful of bands on that list I'd be excited to see.
I've had my experiences with the fest in the past, so I know what I'm missing(avoiding).

That being said,

GO TO SHIZZFEST. PARTICIPATE IN SHIZZFEST, FIND LOVE AT SHIZZFEST.

other than that,i dont give a shit. the lineup is just a compilation of all of the hype crap i am sick of hearing about (with a few little exceptions in fine print), so needless to say im not very excited that these bands will be clogging up phx venues on the way in/out

but seriously if someone can get a secret PJ Harvey warm up show in phoenix, i will sell you my testicles. she is one of the only artists i have never seen that i have an odd feeling i will NEVER get to see. she hates touring america. frown.

hopefully shizzfest is rad this year, because i would hate to see all the lame-os ditch out for this coachella blech
