Me and my friends thought it would be cool for all of us to write some stand up comedy stuff and go to an open mic night. Never done anything like it before so it should be interesting!
Any of you know of an open mic stand up shin-dig anywhere? I thought Firehouse had one. . .

Cup-o-Karma in Mesa used to do this on Mondays... I never attended, but when I was running the Shizz open mic last year, I'd occasionally get standup guys who referenced that one in Mesa... otherwise????

I believe there is an open mic every wednesday night at the Hidden house, but she would be able to answer better than anyone.

Hidden house has one on both Wed. and Thursday. You have to be good enough on Wed. to get invited to Thursay. Don't expect to read the first time there, but good place to ask around. Open Mics for comedy come and go almost as quickly as poetry ones. Wed night at hidden house also has awesome 5 dollar deal on steak.
Firehouse Friday is open-mic you have to arrange in advance because it is getting to be such a large stage.
