I know it's scary to go in the bossy forum but there are some cool apps discussed, I only gave you the link to the last page.
I love robo defense, pewpew, and angry birds for games.
Google maps should come by default, but is most essential. I use plume for twitter and poweramp for music.
that's all I can think of off the top of my head without actually looking at my phone.
Message board?
This is The Shizz.
Chromelodeon manages to get all the furniture from their hotel into the lake a few years back...and people are worried about shizzies?

there's a free version (which i use) that will turn off some of the non-essential functions and stop your phone from constantly searching for wireless/3G signals (because that shit kills your battery life).
Myspace
My thesis is called the "Black-Emperor-Says Theory" and holds that any any Phoenix-area indie rock festival there is a 100 percent probability that Emperors of Japan, Black Carl, and/or What Laura Says will be on the bill.

oh c'mon.. you've probably looked at your phone 37 times since you posted that. HELP ME OUT! ha. but yeah.. i did a search for "cell phone apps" on the forum here and didn't come up with that one so i'll check it out for sure. thanks.
and thanks everyone else.. gotta grab pandora for sure.
tony, do you know if juice defender is better than autokiller? someone told me to try that one for the same reasons. the epic is a drain on the battery.
hexa, is that red laser one for those weird looking new upc deals that are square and have the random blocks in'em? and how does the red laser one help you find stuff cheap? if i scan a snickers bar in a grocery store, does it show me cheaper places to buy that snickers bar? not sure how that works exactly.
thanks!

not sure.
i think autokiller will go in and disable everything that's not essential - like literally shut it down. i think juice defender does pretty much the same, but you can have varying levels of defense. juice defender was recommended by a friend so i tried it and have no complaints. haven't played with autokiller at all. you're probably going to be satisfied with either of them.
regarding rooting the phone: i'd avoid that shit unless you really feel like you need to do it for some reason - like you just don't feel like you're maximizing the potential of the phone unless you do that. i don't see any need for it personally - i use my phone a lot, but there's never been a point where i said "shit, if only i could get to the source code!"

RedLaser takes a picture of the UPC code on an item and shows you prices locally and on the net - it is, however, hit or miss.....
