Also cool to check out is McMenamin's Kennedy Street School. It's an old elementary school that they turned into a hotel/restaurant/movie theater/bar(s). The hotel rooms still have chalkboards in them and the littlest of the bars is in the old detention hall. They also have really good root beer that they brew themselves.
i can vouch for this. did some good drinking action there.
oh and if it hasn't been mentioned yet
you gotta go geek out at ground kontrol

+1 Mcmenamins anything (although I wasn't in that specific one, I was in enough of them to know that you'd be in good hands)
Fucking Portland...why can't I just live everywhere at the same time.

511 Northwest Couch Street
and that's couch said like cooch. hilarity to me. I giggled every time someone gave me directions to a place and I had to use couch.
Powell's bookstore is fun too, if you like massive books stores. There comic book section is pretty good.

Seattle was radical!
Met Mercatfat from the minibosses board and stayed with Mothrock!
We ate awesome thai food at arayas and great vegan dishes at plum bistro.
checked out highline bar in capitol hill and met with babeland peeps. We went to a hipster bar in ballard and the white sox won on saturday and sunday!
we also nerded out frakkin' hardcore in the Battlestar Galactica exhibit at the EMP. We bought shirts.
