Hello SHIZZ world!

I wrote a press release to describe the show!

Hope you can come out! If not- I'll be playing solo in the lounge of the new Crescent Ballroom on Oct 5th from 4:30-7pm before GANG GANG DANCE>

LOCAL BAND, PAWL, RELEASE THEIR SECOND ALBUM WITHIN 12 MONTHS.
In stark contrast to their first album- ‘Archetypes’ is pure “dream pop.”

Phoenix- On Saturday, November 5th, 2011, at 8pm. PAWL will take the stage of the Hard Rock Café sporting a full-band line up ready to bring their unique sound to the music fans of Phoenix. Also sharing the stage are local up-and-comers Hurry the Rising (with loud guitars and female vocals) and opening up the night: local folk-pop troubadour Doug Bale (aka Mergatron).

Everyone who attends the show will be given a card with a special password to download PAWL’s new album for free! All concert attendees will also be able to purchase a CD version of the new album for only $2 dollars!

To celebrate the release of ‘Archetypes’, PAWL is making last year’s album ‘Guest House’ available to download for free for the entire month leading up to the show at http://pawl.bandcamp.com/

Whether it’s the jangly indie-pop sounds of ‘Guest House’; the slick, dance-y, and lyrical dream-pop of ‘Archetypes’, or the intricate chamber rock-pop of their yet to be released ‘Modified Dreams’ album- the audience will not be disappointed.

TICKETS! $8 dollars in advance, $10 at the door. (includes free album download).
