Let me tell you, Throwdown's new offering is crap, their sound is so goddamn generic on this new offering, they've re-recorded two old songs "Slip" and "Raise Your Fist" that didn't need to be redone at all, they also managed to slow them down!
They got rid of the "nu-metallish" vocals they inserted since their *beginning*, which I think made Throwdown special. Also, i don't know what
they did to their great guitar sound, but now it sounds like any boring metalcore generic release. DO NOT BUY, download it then delete it.

cath, i know this is your first post but i MUST disagree. don can do all
sorts of repairs, setups, etc and has a ton of used guitars, basses, amps,
pedals, and records for sale. but i DO agree with you about the new throwdown
stuff. except, i disagree that it was any good to begin with

+1'd. priceless.

i also have to disagree as well cath, donald has customized my guitars with multiple inputs, performed miracles on pilfered thrift store japanese guitars and has kept my twin on the road beer tip for quite a few years now...

also have to disagree with you ab, the new throwdown is AwEsOmE.

As long as we're all enjoying some spam... If for some reason you really hate Don, or can't be bothered to drive *way* out to his shop and live real close to 7th Ave. and Indian School, Precision Guitar has nifty stocking stuffers like guitar straps, guitar shaped air fresheners, novelty picks, slides, capos, strings, guitar computer mousepads, tuners, and the largest selection of parts in the state. Everything you need done to a guitar or amp, we can do. I sell starter guitar packages too.
Don is a good guy and has a cool little shop, but mine's cool too. Wherever you go for musical instrument service and guitar stuff, make sure it is a local shop, not a chain. In the current economical situation, EVERY little bit you spend at a local shop versus online or at a big box really helps.
