alex "the wozz" atchley is in town for the month and we've been talking about hitting up karaoke at some point.

problem is, i don't really know of any good karaoke joints around here. i know brandon used to do karaoke on thursday nights at plazma, but i'm unsure if that still happens.

does anyone know of any good / fun karaoke spots and, more importantly, does anyone want to join up for a wacky night of poor singing?

the only one i know thats fun is the one by me at Rips on sundays. But it DID just win the New Times best karaoke night 2011! i would say its about a 50/50 split of fun nights to boring ones. most importantly they have my number one karaoke jamz

Several years ago (2007 maybe?) on Stewart's birthday, we went someplace just north of Camelback on 7th street or maybe central. I don't remember what it was called, it was like a restaurant/diner place. Googling it, the only that comes up for karaoke in that area is a gay bar called Apollo's. Looking at the street view that's not it. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

youve never seen me perform with a band or whenever i can drunkenly steal a microphone. when that song kicks in i could make the ladies swoon*

i totally read the original post wrong and though wozz was here next month...and no for me this sunday. THE GIANTS ARE IN THE SUPER BOWL. any other sunday works, Presidents day weekend is preferable so i dont have to wake up the next day


edit: i mean shit, im not the end-all, you guys can go without me. but a) a lot of places will be drunken superbowl viewing spots b)cops ERRYWHERE c)i will be in a food coma by 9pm
