I haven't been there in ages, but I remember a place called Kathy's was good for food. Check out the Monte Vista for music. There's probably a lot more someone more in the know can expound on.
edit> forget about Kathy's, it's closed. http://www.yelp.com/...-cafe-flagstaff

Mia's does live music up there, there's a good thai restaurant next door to it too and a good hot dog place down the street that stays open late. i would also recommend MartAnne's Cafe on San Francisco st for good mexican breakfast food!!!

there's a record store downtown called rock-it-man that is decent, depending on what you're looking for, but sucks compared to say, oh, stinkweeds. or even, god, zia's. the bookstore next door is pretty cool. there's crappy boutiques and stuff all around downtown, as you already know, if you need any ladies things.
an occasionally useful blog (like when they repost stuff from my blog): http://fuckyeahflagstaff.tumblr.com/
there's a show at sundara, which is right downtown tonight, with the fantastic, them savages. i don't know if there's any house shows this weekend. explosions in sky and zammuto are on sunday at the oriface, i mean orpheum. i just saw that come on die young is playing at the worst bar in town that same night. (the cinnabar) i feel bad for them. i've never seen a show there with people in attendance and haven't gone to one since the glimpse trio played (i was the only one there. couldn't convince anyone to go there.)
i think the weather is going to be stellar this weekend, but i'm assuming that's when you're talking about, which is probably wrong.

I agree on MartAnnes for a delicious breakfast! Expect a wait for a table, especially on a weekend, though. It's tiny!
Mia's is a lovely music venue/bar - very dog friendly... so maybe not recommended if you dislike dogs. I like Brews & Cues (owned by Beaver Street Brewery, and right next door) for happy hour... cheap $3.50 (locally brewed) imperial pints and trivia on the TVs.
Flag Brew is awesome for sitting out on the patio on a sunny day for food/local beer.
We like beer in Flagstaff.
