Does anyone else here think that this message board would make the most excellent movie? It's not like it would be hard to dig up material for a script within the text of some of the more popular threads. A lot of what goes on here is pretty comical and would make good material between interacting characters.
Ugh.
I haven't started a thread in years. I am so terrified I am going to make a complete ass out of myself if this has already been proposed. I used the "search" feature, didn't see anything.

This one's easy. Take the basic plot of Stand By Me but replace the reality of death with stomach aches.What would happen in this movie?

I was thinking more like some kind of inspirational 80's movie.

We could have scenes that show the characters representing me, Ranger-X and Mig50 where we're in the background of certain scenes with guitars and pickups and soldering irons and chisels, working on/modifying guitars, and everyone basically ignores us.

I think you could incorporate all of those elements. Plots and subplots. Subversive plot.
