I've played a few shows in Seattle and one here in Tempe at Red Owl, but it would be cool to play more shows and get to know some other artists around here.
I appreciate any help you can give me.

Hey guys, I'm new to the forum and to the AZ music scene so I figured I would ask: Are there any other local artists that normally play shows where my music might fit with? I use a guitar and two Game Boys to write stuff that's influenced by The Fall Of Troy, Circa Survive, Thursday...stuff like that. Better yet, here's a link to my music and you can decide what it sounds like:

Hey! This is JRC from Trunk Space, I am glad you checked out the site!
I'd look around in the minibosses thread too, as that is where the 8-bit action happens.
Not sure how they'll respond to your 'mashup' of genre, but it's a 'big tent' around here.
Welcome aboard!

Honestly, any chiptune could be made to work in a live setting...unless you have a crapload of hardware I guess. I'd love to hear it, whenever you release it!I'm currently working on finishing up my first chiptune release but my songs don't lend well to a live setting A PHX chip scene would rule.
Also, thanks again for directing me here JRC. I've kinda been poking through the Minibosses threads a bit. I figured I'd post this here because I'd rather not limit myself to the type of people I play with if possible. I know the mashup thing is gonna make it more difficult to fit with other artists, but honestly if it comes down to it I might get my own PA and find other ways to play music for a lot of people.

It's not really a matter of hardware or anything, the songs themselves just aren't good for that. Like one of my songs is a 20 second loop..

I love Mega Man Dies At The End! He definitely did a good job on the music.I'm 3 tracks into the soundcloud and really digging your stuff. Welcome to phx. I hope you get something booked so I can it live.
