I've had good luck on the Shizz with this, so hopefully the luck continues. Looking for a bass player to round out a trio. Influences include Don Caballero, Shellac, The Jesus Lizard, Young Widows, Harkonen, Oxxes, The Melvins, Slint, These Arms Are Snakes, Laundry, Polvo, Gang of Four, Queens of the Stone Age and many more. Feel free to hollar at me if this sounds interesting. We've only been playing for a few weeks so we don't have a bunch of songs together or anything. Definitely going to be on the loud side. As an old acquaintance once said, "we don't have a volume on the drummer."
Jack and I are both getting older and I have a family so we're not looking to do a lot of crazy tours or anything. We try to get together on Mon or Tues nights for a couple of hrs and would like to play out around town and whatnot. Hope to hear from somebody soon. Take care all...
Scott

if i end up moving back to phx and you two still need a bass player (or a second guitar player if you find a bass player) i am all fucking over this.
alternately - if you don't have any luck with a bass player, i would be stoked to come up with some bass stuff if you can record what you've got and send it my way. doesn't really accomplish anything by way of playing live / having full practices, but it could be fun.
