What're the possibilities for a 7 string wielding axe maniac out there who's willing to adapt to various styles? Is there a healthy pool of musicians or is it all pretty much set now?

By metal I do not mean metalcore or hardcore. I am not expecting anything like some good local thrash (probably doesn't exist anywhere anymore), but maybe some melo-death (yeah I know, I'd have to move to Europe for that...)

Thanks, that gives me a ton of stuff to check out. Mostly interested in the metal music scene which has to be better than out here (Indiana) in terms of music. Wouldn't mind starting up a band or just jamming either, but we'll see.

Definitely interested in some bars, as I can be known to be quite a drinker.

Mesa, specifically. Who's a definite must-see live, locally? How's the musician scene around those parts?

I've only lived in Arizona once before, but that was all the way down in buttfuck Yuma, and for only a month or so.

I got a Blackberry 8320 for free (two of them actually) with my T-Mobile contract a year and a half ago. The contract is up next April, I love these phones, so I dunno what I'm going to do come April.

I rarely check e-mail from anything but my phone now.
