#756744 Who are the contacts for Hell Yeah Hut and The Manor?

Posted by Follow That Bird! on 12 June 2009 - 12:44 PM in Shows and Stuff

that sucks. well, it's cool you got hooked up in tucson.

not that we don't want you in phx, but did you consider playing in las cruces, nm, on the 3rd?

I tried to work something with Chris at Dirt Cult, but he said things were pretty packed full of touring bands for that time period. Las Cruces seemed out

Dont say quit!! :)

We drove from Minneapolis to bozeman montana and thats like 15 hours! WHOOOOOOOOOO
the stuf we do to play some music FUCK YEAH!

I was talking about the jobs, not the music. I'm almost certain my other band played a show in either Cruces or Tucson with Japanese Monsters. I'm the bass player for Sex Advice. i think it was at the hang Art.

ummm. you have to drive through tucson to get to phoenix from el paso. so you have to drive from el paso to phoenix (which is like 7 hours), then drive back to tucson (2 hours) the next day. playing here on the 4th makes a lot more sense. i'm just saying.

That just how it has to be. Drummer has to be at work 9am on the 5th. We got offered the Tucson show and are building around that, but yes that drive will not be fun. It is, however, better than the drive form Austin to El Paso and the drive from Tucson to Austin. jobs are really getting in the way here. we should just all quit

Not sure about the mannor but The hell yeah hut well you can ask me and Ill call them.

That would be great! Thank you very much. We play in El Paso on the 1st and Tucson on the 3rd, so we need a show on the 2nd. Go ahead and give them our myspace (www.myspace.com/followthatbiiird) and our email is birdfollowing@gmail.com.

Thank you for the help, and thank you to BG from Necronauts for suggesting I come here for some help.

You folks are super helpful.

Mitchell

Hey Mitchell, I don't know the contacts personally, but some of my friends probably do. Are these the only places you would want to play in phoenix? The Trunkspace would be a good place for you guys. It's all ages too.

The Trunk Space already had a touring band booked. We'll play anything really. I just thought that the short notice is easier to deal with for houses than it is for bars. They are also two places I haven't already contacted. I've got a hold of a couple bands, but no real luck. I've tried a bunch of other venues and bars, but a no go all the way around.

Thanks for the contacts. I'll let you know if how things pan out. If you have any ideas let me know. Everything helps

#755780 Follow That Bird! is looking for a show July 2nd

Posted by Follow That Bird! on 10 June 2009 - 05:12 PM in Shows and Stuff

We are nice and fun people that you want to meet.

It's certainly is last minute, but we certainly aren't picky. We are just looking for a July 2nd Phoenix area show to jump on, some cash for gas, and floor to crash on. We will play at a venue, a party, a house show, a community center, about anywhere. Check out the music at www.myspace.com/followthatbiiird

Thank you for the help,

Mitchell
