From Brooklyn and South Carolina, you've got chillwave maestros Pressed And headlining, which promises to be a magical, head-nodding set.

Before them is Sweet Bleeders, probably the most important rock band in Phoenix in the last ten years (am I right? too hyperbolic?).

And before that is the debut of EPISODES, which isn't anything...yet. You'll just have to come see and find out, right? We'll have CD-Rs of our debut album, out soon on Purr Tapes and otherwise, and you'll get it free.

Picked up Miles Davis Quintet's Live in Europe 1967, and it is pretty amazing stuff. The range of emotions in these sets would be the envy of any band.

Obviously this is way in advance, but a killer show going down at The Rogue on Monday, March 5th.

First, we have Arizona's greatest band, Sweet Bleeders, whom you already know and love (or have resigned yourself to your own worthless taste if you don't).

Next we have Pressed And, whose debut album Imbue Up was recently released on Crash Symbols (check it out free here: http://crashsymbols..../album/imbue-up).

Then we have EPISODES, a new project from Hideo 8 + Yojimbo Billions. They'll be playing some Yojimbo Billions tunes (Full disclosure: me, check out here: http://yojimbobillions.bandcamp.com/) as well as debuting transmissions they have been receiving from the newly-discovered Kepler-22b.
