Press Kit blablabla:
SON is Christopher Francis of Olympia, Washington. He is a violent broody crooner. He strikes the diva pose something torrential. The stomping foot is the bass drum, the wild arsenal of histronics floods but goes not overboard. At times a tambourine alone accompanies singing, at other times the nylon-string guitar, in still others a spectrum of programmed electronics. Reference points would include Nick Cave, Scott Walker, Nina Simone, and PJ Harvey. Son will grow up to be a "professional soldier" as prescribed by a career aptitude test. Christopher also plays in Olympia based band JUNE MADRONA, and recently joined the line-up of Olympia-based TWO TON BOA, who record for the KILL ROCK STARS label.

Some may try to call him anti-folk, but there's not a negative bone in Jordan O'Jordan's body of music. Upbeat, simple, beautiful; O'Jordan is a wonderful storyteller who has a rich vocabulary of haughty-taughty innuendo to foil his child-like exuberance, plaintive banjo and genuine, cascading voice. Ever the showman, Jordan O'Jordan recaptures the halcyon days of Saturday matinees and nights spent getting busy with your High School sweetheart in the back seat of your dad's Buick.
