Prepare for it as best you can. When I lost my job last year it was sort of a surprise. Start looking for jobs, look into unemployment, save as much money as you can so that you have as much of a buffer as possible.

Yeah man, I'm really glad I got some notice about it. Some deals went bad and we're likely losing over half our clients which will sink this office. Trying to keep expenses low and hopefully line up a job.
