Yes, sad indeed. Sad in that there wasn't help for those people. It was do the crime or live on the street, it seems.

there is no middle class anymore. either you are poor enough to warrant govt help, or wealthy enough for it not to matter so much. every one in between is pretty much screwed.

I'll love onions even more once those new genetically altered tearless ones get to market. Christine hates cutting those things up more than I do.
